“Goodbye party”, March 24, 2021 – online
With the end of the COST Action CA15225, after the Final Annual Workshop, a small virtual “Goodbye party” took place. As Action Chair I would like to thank to all MC Members, MC Substites, MC Observers, our Science Officer and Aministrative Officer, and all others, who made it possible to run this COST Action and contribututed to its Events and Tasks, used the Networking Tools to follow the Action Objectives and reach its Deliverables.

Final MC Meeting, March 24, 2021 – online
The Final, i.e. the 6th, MC Meeting has been organized by the Czech representative of the Action, prof. Jaroslav Koton from Brno University of Technology. Only 16 (out of 25) COST countries participating in the Action were represented and therefore the quorum was not reached again to proceed with on-side votes. Anyway, as it was the final MC Meeting, not rechin gthe quorum was not the isseus as no votes were scheduled nor proposed. The MC Members were made aware about the budged of the previous Grand Period, whereas for the current (Last) Grand Period, there are no expenses. The MC Members were also informed about their need to participate on prepariation of the Final Report and also the Action Book, the very final output of the COST Action, which is expected to be published at the COST Action webpage by the end of August 2021. Core Group meeting, Athens (Greece) February 7, 2020
The half-day meeting of the “Core group” members took place in Athens, where the efficiency of the past events organized by the action were discussed and followed by the pre-approval of the events being planned for the upcomming Grant Period, starting May 1, 2020.
MC/WG Meeting, Ghent (Belgium) September 19, 2019
The 5th MC meeting has been organized by the Belgium representative of the Action, Dr. Dana Copot from University of Ghent in Ghent. Only 14 (out of 25) COST countries participating in the Action were represented and therefore the quorum was not reached again to proceed with on-side votes. The activities supported within the previous Grand Period and planned to be supported within the current Grand Period were discussed. The MC Member/Substitutes were made aware about the networking tools being supported by the COST Action. The main results of the 2nd Progress Report that was submitted during the previous Grant Period were presented, whereas the main observations of the report reviewer are very positive. A number of Tasks were defined that are to be followed by the MC. For more information, see the Minutes. Dissemination meeting, Rome (Italy) July 22-23, 2019
As invited speaker at the 2nd Int. Conf. on Electronics and Electrical Engineering Action chair was presenting the objectives, activities and reached deliverables of the COST Action CA15225, whereas also the COST Association was promoted. The presentation may be downloaded here.

The half-day meeting of the “Core group” members took place in Dublin, where the efficiency of the past events organized by the action were discussed and followed by the pre-approval of the events being planned for the upcomming Grant Period, starting May 1, 2019.
MC/WG Meeting, Bialystok (Poland) September 19, 2018
The 4th MC meeting of the MC Members/Substitutes took place in Bialystok and was organized by the Polish representative of the Action and vice-chair Dorota Mozyrska at Bialystok University. Only 14 (out of 25) participating in the Action were represented at the meeting, and hence the quorum was not reached. Anyway, the activitites supported within the previous Grand Period and planned to be supported within the current Grand Period were discussed. New Tasks were defined, dealing mainly the 2nd Progress Report, and required decisions to be made were identified that will handled via e-votes. Core Group meeting, Krakow (Poland), February 8, 2018
The one-day meeting of the “Core group” members took place in Krakow, where the efficiency of the past events organized by the action were discussed and followed by the pre-approval of the events being planned for the upcomming Grant Period, starting May 1, 2018.
MC meeting on current progress in fractional-order systems and their utilization (3rd MC Meeting)
The third MC meeting has been organized by the Spain representatives of the Action, Dr Karmele Lopez de Ipina and Dr. Pilar Ma Calvo from University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian, where 17 (out of 23) countires participating in the Action were represented. The activitites supported within the previous Grand Period and planned to be supported within the current Grand Period were discussed. The MC Member/Substitutes were made aware about the networking tools being supported by the COST Action. The issue of attacting the industry was discussed, mainly regarding the planned Study Group event. A number of Tasks were defined and approved that are to be followed by the MC. 2nd Management Committee and Working Group Meeting
The second MC/WG meeting with the title “Meeting on current state in fractional-order systems and future plans” has been organized in the Campus of the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication. The dissemination tools expected to be used by the Action have been discussed. To follow the recommendations of the COST Scientific Committee the ways of attracting the industry and young R&D scientists have been identified. The MC meeting has been followed by the WG meeting, where the members have presented their activities at their home institutions, their interest in the activities of the Action to address its tasks and deliverables. 1st Management Committee Meeting of COST Action CA15225
During the first (Kick-off) MC meeting organized by COST Association in Brussels, the representatives of the participating countries obtained the general information on COST mechanism and the funding and reporting of coordination activities. After electing MC Chair and other Core Group members, the goals of the Action CA15225, working groups and their tasks were shortly presented. Finally, the draft of the Work and Budget Plan was presented and preliminarily approved. For detailed information, see the Minutes.
